High Holidays at Chabad

Honey and Apples (small)

Welcome to High Holiday Services with Chabad – where the prayers are warm, the people are friendly and everyone feels at home. Whether your background in Jewish prayer and practice is extensive or limited, the services will leave you feeling enriched, connected, uplifted and energized to start your New Year in a most meaningful way.

Prayers Machzor (small)
Many of the prayers are recited by the congregation in unison and in English, so that everyone can participate. Hebrew/English prayer books are used throughout the service and Rabbi Mendy provides a running commentary with explanatory insights. Our popular Cantor will lead the congregation with his heartfelt voice and traditional tunes.

Children's Synagogue Prayer (& fun) Program

Rosh HashanaA special program with English explanations, popular Hebrew songs, interactive stories, will be held on the High Holidays throughout (most of) each service, led by our dedicated counselors. This program will be geared to children and parents are welcome to join.

The programs will feature scaled-down Synagogue furnishings Jewish songs and stories, games with Jewish themes, and a taste of special holiday treats.  Children will understand and relate to the deeper meaning of the holidays, appreciating the spiritual experience.
