For over two decades, the Chabad House Jewish Center hosts the Annual Public Menorah Lighting and Celebration at the Chabad House Jewish Center, 34 Cedar Street in Milford.
At the Milford lighting on, children and adults will get together to sing traditional Chanukah songs, eat delicious Chanukah foods (such as “Sufganiyot” – Israeli donuts) and celebrate the freedoms granted to us by this great country. Delicious holiday refreshments will be available including, Chanukah gelt (chocolate coins), and Latkes. Dreidels will also be given out. Town officials and other dignitaries will participate in the festivities. Admission is free and open to all members of the community, regardless of background or affiliation.
