    Welcome to High Holiday Services at Chabad! Where the people are friendly and everyone feels at home.  Whatever your background, the services will leave you feeling enriched, connected, uplifted and energized. Services at Chabad are open to all. No membership and no charges! And it's for Reform, Conservative, Orthodox or any "kind" of Jew! 

    While it's a traditional service, some prayers are recited in English, and all commentary/sermons are in English. Hebrew/English prayer books are used, and the rabbi provides a (sometimes humorous) running explanatory-commentary throughout.

    To accommodate as many people as possible this year, registration is required.

    Some of the "types" of services include: • Indoor (complete traditional) service. • Outdoor condensed service in a huge tent • Service in the park. Schedule below.

    Please use this form for all/any of the following:
    • Reserve a seat at any of the Holiday services. 
    • Reserve a spot at a "specialty services" (i.e. "Family program", "truncated Services" etc.)

    All High Holiday Services take place at the Community Shul at Chabad : 34 Cedar Street, Milford .

    Rosh Hashana evening services
    Monday, Sept. 6 & Tuesday Sept. 7 - 6:45pm

    Rosh Hashana, both days:
    10:30am: Indoor  Traditional Service
    11:15am-12pm: Family Program (for kids and their families) includes lunch. (outdoors)
    12pm: Shofar sounding for all. (Indoor-Outdoor)
    12-1pm: Preliminary service and Kabbalah (outdoors)
    1:30pm: Kiddish lunch 

    30-min Short Service & Shofar, (Outdoor in the tent)on the top of each our
    3:00-3:30pm | 4:00-4:30pm | 5:00-5:30pm | 6:00-6:30pm


    Tuesday, Sept. 7 - 6pm (rain date: Wed. Sept 8 - 6pm): Shofar-Service-In-The-Park 
    Rosenfeld Park (near the Boat-Ramp): Wide-open space to accommodate all... includes, Shofar sounding and Lake-side Tashlich service. Plus you'll get to take home a delicious Homemade Challah Roll. 


    Yom Kippur:
    Wednesday, Sept. 15
    6:15pm: Traditional Kol Nidrei Service

    Thursday, Sept. 16
    10:30am: Traditional Service
    11:00am: Children's Service
    11:15-12pm: Adults Kabbalah Service (Outdoor)
    12:00-12:30pm: Yizkor Service (Indoor and/or Outdoor in Tent)

    5pm: Mincha & Ne'ilah Service
    6:15pm: Join Ne'ilah Service
    7:10pm: Shofar Blast
    7:35pm: Huge- Break-the-Fast-Buffet

  • Participation in all High Holiday services is free of charge . However please consider making a donation to help cover the costs of the High Holidays as well as the other wonderful programs that Chabad brings to our community.

    You can also choose to become a "partner" which makes you a member of the coveted "Chabad Club" (and receive special benefits throughout the year) by going to our " PARTNER PAGE ".

    The following is only a suggestion. You can contribute more, or less:

     While worldwide Chabad Lubavitch is globally bound in its beliefs and aspirations, each center is an independent entity and financially self-supporting. Every penny you donate goes directly to this local Chabad's operating budget ($400,000 annually). Your contribution will allow us to provide great educational programs for young and old.
