There is nothing quite like traditional handmade Shmurah Matzah for your Passover Seder – paired with quality Passover wine.

Handmade Shmurah Matzah is the matzah traditionally used at the Seder and has been carefully prepared according to age-old Jewish tradition. Including it at your Seder table allows you to share this special and meaningful mitzvah with your family and guests.

(If you are attending the Chabad Seders, this special Shmurah Matzah will be served.)

In recent years, handmade Shmurah Matzah has become available in some Jewish supermarkets. However, for your convenience, Chabad is happy to make it available here as well.

How Much Matzah Should You Order?

Shmurah Matzah is sold by weight, not by the piece.

• There are approximately 6–8 round matzahs per pound. The quantity may vary slightly because the matzah is handmade.

When deciding how much to order, keep in mind:

• Three whole matzas are needed for each Seder

• Each person at you Seder, should ingest at least 1 ounce (which is approximately a 1/4 to a 1/3 of a shmurah matzah.)

• Besides for the Seder, you also require, Two matzas for each Shabbos or holiday meal during Passover
